Components
Shield generators are a first defense in repelling enemy attacks. They draw power from the vehicle's reactor, and are rechargable. However, shield generators can only be mounted on Hercs of this list of standard vehicles.

1* Although the shield gauge displays 50/50, it should be more like 100/100. Full power is really being allocated to the front and back of the shields. Also, shield energy is not divided into a front and back side a la Earthsiege — it is allocated as a whole.
2* The recharge rates listed here are different from the one's listed in-game. This is because the recharge rate were not factored in with the efficiency, like protection factor was. I wanted to give the player a better idea of what the actual recharge time was like.
3* Whether you have a Shield Modulator or not, there will always be a unprotected gap toward the rear focus of the shield. A SMOD will allow you to focus this gap elsewhere.
